Will My Boyfriend Know I Used Reverse Phone Search?

March 3rd, 2011

Question from AllyP

I seem to have a problem that isn’t that uncommon after reading through your blog. My boyfriend of 2 years has been getting phone calls and he either runs in the other room and then says it’s a “wrong number” or he outright lies to me about who he is talking to. Whoever is calling him never leaves voice mail but I wrote down their number and read some very provocative text messages that obviously weren’t sent by a guy. I want to know who this is – can I use a reverse phone number search to look up a cell phone?

Answer from Reverse-Phone-Numbers.com
Yes, you can find out not only the name of the person that owns the phone number that is calling (doesn’t matter if it is a land line, cell phone listed or unlisted). You will also have access to find out the listed address for the phone number (note that sometimes the billing address may be for an office or business). Once you get that information you can look the person up on Facebook or other social networking sites and see if they are in touch with your boyfriend. Once you have all the information you need – you probably want to schedule a little face time with your boyfriend for a long heart to heart.
If you’re worried about discretion, your boyfriend will not be notified that you’ve done a reverse phone number search – the service is 100% discreet.

Reverse Cell Phone Look Up – Busting Stalkers at Their Own Game

March 3rd, 2011

Question from TammyB

I have a huge, huge problem with my fiance’s ex-girlfriend. This woman won’t go away. They broke up over 5 years ago and you’d think that was time enough to move on, right? Wrong. This girl calls nonstop, she doesn’t come by the house because she no longer knows where we live and we have our address blocked so when she gets our phone number every time (however she’s doing it) at least she isn’t getting our address. We talked about getting a restraining order but we’ll have to give her our address. She blocks her number when she phones or texts us and it’s almost constantly. Is there any way to find out her number using a reverse phone number search so I can text her back or call her and tell her to stop it? I think it may take the fun out of her game if she knows that we know her number too.

Answer from Reverse-Phone-Numbers.com
Sorry to hear about the one that wouldn’t go away. We are definitely not advising you on what to do but we have to agree – sometimes giving someone a dose of their own medicine seems like a good idea. You can easily find out her name, address, land line and cell phone number by doing a name search at our vendor. If you’re worried about doing a reverse phone number search and having her know about it it – don’t. Using the database is 100% discreet and the person you’re looking up will not be notified.

I Don’t Understand How to Use Reverse Phone Number Search or Why Anyone Would Need It?

March 1st, 2011

Question from AnnabellaJ
I just had a really basic question about reverse phone number search – why would anyone need it? Can’t you just pop a phone number in Google and find out the information you need? I see that most of the places with reverse phone number search charge for it- why is that? Doesn’t the information just come from search engines like Google?

Answer from reverse-phone-numbers.com
That’s a lot of questions about reverse phone searching! There are a lot of reasons someone may need a reverse phone number search done. One of the most common is because they want to find out a phone number that has been calling. It may be crank calls or it may be one’s spouse or partner is getting phone calls from a phone number they won’t divulge. Google and other search engines do have some phone numbers, but generally that is gleaned from forums, blogs and other public postings and may or may not be accurate. When you do a reverse phone number search, you are actually accessing our vendor’s database of millions upon millions of records. Those records are provided directly by the phone companies (both land lines and cell phones) and other venues that have actual dealings with consumers. Their information does not come from search engines, which isn’t usually reliable information in the first place. The information from the actual companies is sold to companies like our vendor and they in turn charge a very small fee to access the database. You can use the database to look up a phone number anywhere in the United States or can use reverse phone number search to find out who owns a phone number and it doesn’t matter if it is a land line or cell phone number.
